How It Began
A Simple Belief That Changed Everything
Off to Eden was founded in 2018 by a group of foster parents who had experienced firsthand the exhaustion, joy, and complexity of caring for children in need. After years of giving everything they had — and watching other families do the same — they asked a simple question: who takes care of the caregivers?
The answer became Off to Eden. A nonprofit resort where foster and adoptive families can step away from the weight of the world and simply be present with each other. No paperwork. No appointments. Just rest, beauty, and the reminder that they are not alone.

We provide fully funded resort retreats for foster and adoptive families — at no cost to them. Every stay is designed to restore connection, reduce burnout, and remind families that their sacrifice is seen, valued, and celebrated.
